This story began with a most unexpected meeting. I crossed Télé and Nano Montana's path in Marseille. I was painting a landscape in their street when they came and spontaneoulsy asked me to do their portrait.
At first they passed me a few pics but soon they lent the whole family album to me. I kept it for two years. Télé was telling me stories about every character I could see in this album. He was also giving me details on their clothes, jewels and tattoos and even made a few drawings to complete his depictions.
Everytime I was finishing a painting and bringing it to their house, Nano was putting it directly in the frames on the wall in lieu of the old family pics. As for my payment, it has always been postponed.
